In stock for immediate dispatch. Medals are more popular than ever, and this little book is a great guide for novices and experts alike. It's not just a list of the medals and their values, it's packed with historical information about the battles and campaigns to which the medals relate. It's also a lot more personal than just a listing of medals as it mentions some of the people that were involved in shaping the battles and events covered. It contains current market values for all British and Irish Medals (including NATO and UN) from the 2nd Boer War in 1899 to the recent wars in this century (right up to the current Iraq operations, although there is no price for the Iraq medal as it's so new).
Thankyou for looking at this page, I hope to hear from you soon. Chris Perkins, www.predecimal.com (By the way, the authors name being the same as mine is no coincidence. He's my father! I talked him into doing a book that I could publish, just to keep him out of trouble for a few months! This book and this page are dedicated to the memory of Uncle Billy.) |
